Monday, April 13, 2015 - The Germain was rich, explosive and heady, kind of like Meursault’s answer to Batârd. It had plenty of honeysuckle to the aroma along with white peach and aniseed. It was broad shouldered and dense in the mouth. There’s big structure to the wine but its flesh allows you to sneak a peek now without getting hurt. Great wine.
