Monday, September 8, 2014 - Did this as a prepour 2013 Gargiulo Rosato di Sangiovese vs 2012 Clautier Estate Rose. Both were outstanding and as different as night and day. The Gargiulo was much lighter in color, softer with good fruit and slight acidity. The Clautier was dark in color for a rose and the grenache blend brought solid fruit, very dry, low acidity.
I believe the group (which went back in forth with every sip) ended on the Gargiulo.
