Saturday, June 6, 2015 - Tasted side by side with the Kolibiri. My understanding is that this blend contains some Chardonnay. That may explain why I enjoyed this considerably more than the Kolibiri. The Chardonnay cuts the intense oily richness present in the Kolibiri. I really enjoyed the blend of the tropical fruit and orchard fruits. A bit more acidity and balance. That said, there is still a bit of heat here. Better than the Kolibiri, but the SQN Rhone-style whites will never be confused for *actual* Rhone whites and I will never be a big fan of this style.
