Wednesday, November 11, 2015 - 1990-99 1er cru dinner at The Bristol (Chicago, IL): Bottle 542, disgorged November 2013, with 3 g/L dosage. Surprisingly, despite the relatively low dosage, this is quite rich and fat, with a pretty dense texture. It hits all the spots Champagne should hit, but there's nothing particularly exciting or interesting about this bottle... well-executed, but a bit boring, though I did hear the next day that this got a lot better with more air.
