Sunday, November 5, 2017 - Hidden at first, a 2 hour decant unveils a strong beauty. Aromatics lift almost effortlessly carrying roses, dark fruit jam, licorice, tar, and herb bouquet, consistent through to the long finish. Great structure, light tannins, and a solid acid backbone pair this well to the right dish. Makes you want to eat a great stew in the forest on a fall day. We just skipped the forest part.
