Friday, January 25, 2013 - This far exceeded my expectations. Old-world leathery nose with cranberry and raspberry. Great, full, round entry with red fruits and a meaty attack. The mouthfeel is dense, heady, chewy...so full. The finish is chocolaty with lasting tannic structure. This bad boy came straight from the winery so provenance is dynamite. And boom it goes...indeed it goes.
