Monday, June 16, 2008 - La Manche Wine Circle - Pomerol versus Saint Emilion (Le Rouge Palu): Big legs on a viscous black-red robe with magenta highlights. Very concentrated nose with a ripe damson ‘plum pudding’ fruit above a peppery spice, liquorice and a hint of tobacco. A big mouthful of cherry and concentrated black fruits, longish and firm. Huge potential to age. Nice.
