90 Points

Sunday, April 5, 2015 - The last one. On opening, much paler and more brick colour than the Labegorce Zede opened a few days ago. Nose is old style claret, smoky, burnt fruit tart, a bit of tobacco. Assertive but not unpleasant tannins. Fruit reticent. Lets decant and leave it for a couple of hours.

Nose much fuller and it looks darker. cedarwood and cigarbox. damson fruit which comes more and more to the fore as the air gets to the wine. at the end, about 2 hours after decanting, chocolate, and I had a piece of 90% chocolate which didn't argue with it at all.

Drink up and enjoy if you still have some.
