Sunday, June 1, 2014 - I think other CellarTracker drunkards (and I include myself in this group) have got the notes right.

Personally, I was somewhat jolted by the nose. I thought I had been transported to Dylans candy store (NYC) when I put my nose in the glass. On the palette, the wine is super-sweet, with vanilla wining over the fruit. This is a crowd-pleaser, that in my opinion, won't cellar for too long. Wifey loved it, extravagently lavishing 95 pts on this specimen. However, editorial liberties will prevail tonight!

Cherries and spice box on the palette. Hints of cloves and cinnamon tease the palette. Finish is acceptable, but not anything to write home about. In my mind, a good wine, but somewhat of a "construction site". I anticipated much better, but still good. The 2011 is much better.
