On the nose it was an amazing amalgam of cocoa, berries, tobacco, cassis, and honey. The nose was room filling. The palate was creamy, BIG, long, with note of earth, spice, anise along side the cocoa, blackberries, honey and tobacco. The finish was looooong, smoooooth and delish. Balance was amazing.

A tough wine to drink with food, rather its a meal completely unto itself. For the zillions of new world style cab drinkers out there this may be yet another milestone you have to say you've tried. I'm glad I did but not sure how many bottles I will add to my cellar.
