Sunday, July 29, 2018 - Served with Wagyu ribeye steak, corn on the cob, roast potatoes.
Look: dark crimson, consistent to the rim, showing some density/intensity.
Smell: Dark fruit, plum, enticing with hints of things to come.
Taste: fruit, mild acid and soft tannins, a bit of pepper. Far more integrated than our first bottle - good richness and finish. A fair bit of extraction.
This wine has come a ways since we drank the first bottle in 2015.
