But still very fruit forward with hidden secondary characteristics of vanilla, toasty oak yet predominantly the big lush dark fruits overshadow it all. I'm not down with the haters on here as I find this wine has it's place for those that love big fruit bombs. I love my old world wines, but every now and again an over extracted new world beast is a fun change up, especially when entertaining folks that have very primary palates. Drink up...ligthen up...and enjoy.
