Tuesday, April 14, 2020 - The final of 4 bottles purchased 6 years ago. Still a bit of a fruit & tannin bomb, but mellowed substantially in the cellar.
Nose is lovely dark fruit with earth & oak.
Flavour is robust dark fruit (blackberry), earth, oak, spice with medium acidity and medium to high soft tannins.
Finish is long, and even with 14.8% ABV, wine is balanced.
