5/2/2015 7:31:00 PM - Sorry for the late response Bluegoose, but you may have already acquired the 2102 Alpha Omega Era, if so, I don't think that you will be disappointed at all. Yes, you are right, I love the 2012 Carter Beckstoffer Cabs and by comparison, I would say that they are both Superior wines, but Carter is my favorite. Carter Beckstoffers display more depth. I would say that the 2012 Era displays a bit more elegance (not to say that Carter wines don't). A/O are probably not as big as Carter wines, but both wines Grand Slams. If you went with A/O I look forward to your comments. BTW 2013 ERA is a 'Killer Wine' too.
5/5/2015 1:36:00 PM - FYI: A very small percentage of Petit Verdot: The Alpha Omega 2012 Proprietary Red Blend ERA, consist of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Did you get it, I think you'll be quite satisfied if you do, it's a lovely wine.
5/6/2015 8:00:00 AM - No problem. It looks like you enjoy the same style in Napa Cabs (Blends) that I like, as I have examined your comments in those categories. Please feel free to share any new discoveries (or under the radar wines) that you experience as I am always interested in Big Cabernets or Red Blends. - Thanks
