Sunday, January 19, 2014 - Deep purple, nearly opaque with a clear rim, aromas of black fruits and smoke leap from the glass. Palate is creamy and rich, drinking still young and vibrant, and full of blackberry, cassis, oak and some soft glove leather notes framed by sweet, smooth tannins. Back palate and finish show some pretty herbal notes, adding a nice complexity and a promise of further development. Outstanding, and drinking like a fine Bordeaux at its peak.
