It opens tight as it is quite young, and at that point seems classic, steely Loire in style, with good length on the ample acids. As it remains open longer deeper fruit flavors take charge and the bracing impression is reduced. By the end you have a bit of gooseberry. That said, it is a somewhat new world style for the Loire but with more finesse than New Zealand renditions, and it is a very fine value.
