Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Decanted and began drinking immediately; beginning to drink quite well just 15-30 minutes in. Attractive deep, earthy, smoky aroma, with rich cherryish/raspberryish/dark reddish fruit, and subtle minty and tealike high notes; 2 hours in, spice and flowers are joining in. Similar on the palate, driven by rich but restrained/elegant dark red fruit, with some nice earthy depth. Well balanced, with good fresh acidity - just short of tart - and noticeable but moderate tannins. Nice cohesion and purity, and simply quite tasty and moreish. The $30 price had been keeping me from grabbing a bottle, but it's worth every cent; good stuff.
