Friday, November 13, 2015 - Decanted for 15 minutes then poured through a vinturri; medium purple-ruby colour in appearance. Creamy blue and black fruits on the nose along with some walnuts and grape jello. Black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, and some hints of vanilla and cassis rounded out by smooth, packed, tannins that dissolve easily and ending with some tartiness. Has a nice finish to accompany it; great qpr 2011 cab. Reminds me of a Spring Mountain cabernet. Will try to follow this one as it ages.
