Friday, November 24, 2006 - Light gold in color with a very fine mousse. It had an extremely strong nose of apples, pears, and yeasty brioche that continued through the palate. It seemed more ready to drink than a bottle I tried two years ago with exceptional balance. This bottle was a perfect example of why people buy and drink the high end champagne cuvees because it was phenomenal. WOW! (my very technical tasting term...)
