Sunday, August 3, 2014 - RRV and Napa Visit; 7/7/2014-8/30/2014 (Napa and Sonoma): Color of peau. 8 hours whole cluster press. From their Rutherford estate. More mineral than fruit aromas. Frosty, iceberg, and not unlike some notes I get off of Inama Soave and it’s iceberg-ishness. Graham crackery to the palate. Rounder and more fruit on the palate than the nose suggests.
