Saturday, January 20, 2024 - Plummy and earthy, full of pencil shavings, with a nice mineral streak. Grippy tannins; the acidity is in control here. Not at all tertiary yet. Medium bodied and far from jammy. A really excellent Cabernet that’s defined by balance and finesse. Just lacks the excitement of the 2005.
