Wednesday, May 17, 2023 - medium Garnet. On the nose there are aromas of leather, wet earth, tar, toast, cedar, black cherry, dried cherries, cinnamon. On the palate the wine is dry, medium + acid and fine ripe tannins (so smooth), medium + body. The flavor intensity on the nose and palate is medium plus and flavors on the palate match the nose. Finish is medium + with dried fruit and leather. The wine is fully developed with tertiary aromas, secondary aromas but little fresh fruit. Would drink now. It might be just a tad past peak, but was more enjoyable the second night - so let it breathe a bit.

That's an obvious contradiction. Right?
Seems to me that it's in a great spot now.
I would be blessed to find out.
