Saturday, October 28, 2023 - Appearance is deep purple in colour. On the nose, pronounced intensity with cooked blackberry, black cherry, blueberry and notes of vanilla, graphite, and cola. On the palette it is dry with high acid, high tannin, medium alcohol and full bodied with pronounced aforementioned flavours and a long finish. This wine was outstanding due to its perfect balance, long finish, pronounced intensity, and high complexity! Drinking excellent now but still has enough fruit, acid, and tannin to cellar for longer. Perhaps our favourite drink of 2023!
