Sunday, November 20, 2011 - tasted parts of two bottles over the course of a restaurant dinner. This wine is an inky purple/black color and its flavor profile is consistent with its appearance. It is a huge wine - very powerful. Some bottle variation - the first bottle was very nicely balanced with solid structure and a peppery finish. The second bottle was a little stronger on the alcohol which muted the fruit and pepper a bit.
