Wednesday, June 13, 2018 - Enjoyed with a friend at a nice Italian byob. Deep deep purple soft legs. Nose comes out strong with black fruit some hints of tobacco and chocolate. Just when you think here comes a fruit bomb a nice balance of acid, soft tannins brings it back. Soft enjoyable finish. It’s ready now I would decant there was a lot of sediment. Went well with a strong truffled cheese and the lamb chops.
