4/19/2014 7:11:00 PM - Did you leave it alone for a 3rd day? Wines often have a sophomore slump on the second day that pulls back for glory on the third day. Not that I expect this to be the kind of wine that had long aging potential based on the bottle we had last week, I don't, but I nonetheless wouldn't rule it out since, having just been shipped, it might have a little travel shock going on.
4/20/2014 12:27:00 PM - No, I didn't leave it alone for a third day. I assumed that since it was pinot noir, it may have just gone flat. Will hold on to my next bottles for a bit anyway, maybe saving some for day 3.
