Monday, October 9, 2023 - Medium-dark ruby red with orange tint, brick-pink rim. Dried strawberry, candied cherry, plum, prune, fig, tobacco, smoke, tea leaves, saddle, pencil shavings, white truffle and cedar. Medium to medium-high acidity, medium to medium-high tanning. I opened for 3 hours before tasting, and at 5 hours, the wine still opening up. Incredible depth and complexity. Very long finish.

Given the concentration of fruits, the relatively high acidity and tannin in the wine, I believe this bottle would develop further for another 20-30 years easily.
