Friday, January 23, 2015 - Spectacular wine. Darker in color but not as dark as the 2000 To Kalon. The nose was wonderful. Very much together with power still left for sure. We popped and poured this wine but a 1-2 hour decant would have been perfect. Very smooth and silky as most Mondavi reserve cabs are. Loads of milk chocolate and raspberry jam, some spices, a little mint, and a smooth long finish. Not a massive bruiser, but elegant as always.
