95 Points

Monday, December 19, 2011 - Another amazing 91 Musar. On opening the wine the bouquet filled the room - tobacco, ripe plum and earth. In the mouth a big prune taste, with wonderful fruit and fully integrated tannin. Lots of complexity and again a weird mix between old burgundy with more of a backbone. Long, long after taste. I just love this wine. I've recently found a few more, older Musars, and it will be interesting to see if it is this vintage, or there are other vintages like this. This is drinking beautifully now, very mature, but it is not on the decline yet and can go longer. Fuller mouthfeel than previous bottles.
