Friday, June 27, 2014 - 1000 cases produced. Made from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from Chouilly. This estate owns 18 ha spread across 40 parcels. Total production is about 7000 cases but 4000 of them are sold 'sur latte' to negociants. Only 10% of their production is exported. Aged 6 years before disgorgement. Light yellow color. Full of power and body. Notes of citrus, chalk and biscuits. Solid bead. This will need some time to show some finesse and round out. Very nice now if you like very youthful champagne but has all the parts to improve. 91+ points.
