Sunday, October 5, 2014 - A delightful bottle of wine. Youthful color of red and pink roses, with not a hint of bricking. The nose is rich, with aromas of red fruits and layers of smoky and jammy flavors. The tannins are completely resolved and melded into a sweet rich texture that echoes for quite some time with every sip. The overall balance is just right -- the ripe fruit is supported by a velvety seamless texture. A pleasure to drink now. I've tried a number of '01 wines and this wines stands out with its impeccable balance.
