Friday, May 21, 2021 - This is my favorite California wine in a long time. A beautiful nose of black currant and sea foam. Medium bodied with good acid and nice blackberry and currant on the palate. Drank at a very cool cellar temp. I like the 2011 vintage in general. They seem better balanced and not overripe. I have always been partial to Clos du Val going back to the 70's.
