Friday, October 23, 2020 - Prior bottle was nearly 16 months ago (manged to pick up another bottle) and my notes were quite similar and this wine has held up well. Nose continues to show red cherry, red berries, floral and earth notes. Medium bodied and shows the same mixture of red cherry and red berry upfront that I recall from my prior bottle. There's still a nicely fresh brightness initially while the mid-body continues to show rounded open fruit with good density. Small touch of red raspberry towards the back and then tart red cherry through the finish. Acidity provides nice structure, remains in balance with the fruit and provides length on the finish. Based on consistent notes, I would say this is peak, but based on how well the various elements continue to show, I'd say you could drink this over the next 18+ months with consistent results. No reason to delay as additional time will not lead to improvement.
