Monday, May 19, 2014 - Tar, smoky oak, crushed red berry fruit, crystallised violets, lively and well-balanced, silky texture, firmer tannic grip than a Barbera from Asti would have, good varietal typicity, not profound and wearing some sweet make-up, but an attractive and thoroughly acceptable wine.
