Friday, July 21, 2017 - Not decanted, followed for 3.5 hours out of Somm stems.
Dark fruit and berries envelop your head during the initial tastes upon opening - strong and heady, deep rich aromas and flavors. Over time the fruits are tamed and the nose shows more BDX characteristics. After 3 hours wood, vanilla and alcohol are in the forefront.

Flavor profile is impeccable. Rich, dark fruits were front-and-center the entire time with an elegant mouthfeel. Finish didn't last as long as I'd like, consistent with my last tasting of this a year or so back. This is in a great place, and my remaining bottle is safe though 20-22. Would not decant this for more than 30 mins, if at all.
