Thursday, July 9, 2015 - A lovely and completely adorable wine from star producer Terre Nere. The first sniff shows abundant flowers and then an exotic fruit compote emerges with apricot, tangerine, mango and papaya. This crescendo is surrounded by a fresh and crisp veil of lemon zest and a light velvety character (perhaps from oak treatment?). The palate does not let us down. It is crisp and elegant but still powerful, just all the wines from Terre Nere usually are. There is enough texture to have this effort age well for another couple of years. A brilliant white for sure - well worth seeking out.
