Sunday, September 17, 2023 - fabulous and stunning wine, rises above the limitations of this torrid vintage to provide that wonderful Lalande trademark: gorgeous texture, cassis, blackcurrant, cedar and faint mint. Gloriously complex, I've seen this wine many times over the past 15 years, and the improvement as it ages has been nothing short of astonishing.
no hurry to consume, but it is either very close to or at peak drinking window, but certainly no danger of falling off any time soon!!
