I let this wine stand in a decanter for approximately 2 hours prior to consumiing it with friends. Pop and pour people will be disappointed because the wine is tight and tannic initially. Once it opens up, it has a wonderful aroma and just a dazzling finish. If I had to fault it, I would say that its midpalate is not as spectacular as the finish. Regardless, this is a really good wine. Highly recommended. An exemplary Bordeaux.
