Friday, July 15, 2022 - Two hour decant. Big legs, especially for Bordeaux with this much age. Nose of ripe raspberries with lilac and lots of other floral notes. Palate starts with a line of firm black coffee grounds, black licorice, and tar, then adds lots of baked gravely earth and dry black fruits. Fine-grained tannins on the finish with layers of dusty earth, cranberry fruit, and a bit of charcoal / campfire.
