Sunday, October 30, 2022 - Tobacco nose, also a little smoky oak. In the mouth, faded red fruit flavors are overcome by oak and tobacco. Slightly green and astringent tannin greet you on the finish. While other 2011 Beringer single vineyard Cabernets have been great, this Howell mountain rendition is showing the weak vintage.

Drink now with a decant. You could try to hold hoping that the tannin meld, but you are risking a wine devoid of fruit.
