Thursday, August 19, 2004 - Black purple ink. Decanted 1 hr and totally expressive, and may I say supple and approachable?! All violet and acacia flowers on the nose. Palate was very spicy, with cocoa, black cherries, eucalyptus, somewhat primary now, with sweet tannins, medium long finish. Was maybe expecting more, but very good.
