Friday, September 8, 2017 - This wine took hours in the decanter to come around. Opaque purple to the core. A mega dense tannic beast of a wine that only after hours started to evoke some nuance and character. Black fruits, so dense the were not even jammy but just overripe and chewy. It will be interesting to see where this wine goes in the next half dozen years.
