Friday, September 1, 2017 - Two bottles in the cellar. Bottle one is a let down. The expected vibrant fruit (per back label and JH) is missing - there is plenty of savoury, twiggy and herbal notes that are dominant over subdued squished red berries and a significantly bitter twist to the finish. I like Nebbiolo but this doesn't seem right. Half now, half into the fridge for tomorrow.
