Saturday, September 27, 2014 - Can't argue with anything in the TN posted by Cave D'Argent...except it appears that I value such a wine a bit higher. For me, this is one of the finest New World Pinots I've tried (I've tried a ton of US examples, but only 30 or so New Zealand ones before...this one tops them all for me). It definitely leans hard towards Burgundy with a wonderful reserve, low alcohol, and marvelous earthy and beetroot complexity floating the delicious and mouthwatering crunchy red fruit. I could have been fooled into thinking this was 2010 Drouhin Clos des Mouches...and this is a third the price...
