90 Points

Saturday, January 12, 2008 - Clear medium intensity lemon hue. Slightly oily texture maybe supported by a bit of residual sugar and/or healthy alcohol levels. On the nose, the wine seems quite introvert at first glance. Delicate and elegant aromas of green fruits, hints of petrol and some minerals suggest a promising wine yet already enjoyable. Surprisingly, the refreshing wave coming from the acidity that I was expecting on the palate didn't occur and aromas suggesting peach, citrus and botrytis were very pleasing. Very good. The wine is essentially dry but there is some noticeable sweetness. With the quality and the intensity of the flavours finishing into a clean and persistent aftertaste, this is another example of a great Riesling wine that will live a long time.
