Monday, December 12, 2011 - More elegant and not as ripe or concentrated as the 08. A complex nose of fresh crushed black and blueberries along with flowers, minerals herbs and bellpepper. The midpalate is a bit hollow initially but gains some weight after 2hrs in the glass. Medium+ finish wth a bit of oak. Nice balance. Very enjoyable, and a nice change from the super-ripe malbecs that are so prevalent.
