Sunday, November 29, 2015 - Medium-bodied but bold and delicious; filled with plum and cherry flavors. Very smooth and easy to drink. Aged in mostly neutral barrels so as not to overwhelm the fruit flavors with oak, this wine is incredibly food friendly and supple. It has an exotic spice finish that goes on forever. Primitivo is the Italian equivalent to California's Zinfandel but with an Old World flair.
