It's not that the usual flavors aren't there - the waxy roussanne component is VERY present, and the fruity components of the chardonnay and the viognier are also present; rather, it's that this wine doesn't seem to fit into the mold established by the previous WE and SI; this one is more sublime and restrained than those efforts. This one certainly has the same incredible nose and fascinating length, and to be frank, this bottle of The Rejuvenators more closely resembles the very, very sublime Rien ne vas Plus that I adored. It'll be interesting to see if this one turns into a sublime wine or just a very good version of the SI as it opens up over the next little while...
