Last night's bottle was stuffed with black cherry and blackberry fruit, and supported by significant tannin that made its presence felt, but did not overwhelm the wine. There's still a bit of an oak signature, but it's a secondary player behind the ripe fruit. This was a delicious match with my burger.

What was your impression of this wine's balance w/r/t acidity, tannin, alcohol, and fruit? TIA.
