91 Points

Wednesday, August 30, 2006 - My first 04 CdP, I was excited given the vintage notes (classic, not flashy). Medium red color. Earthy garrigue nose with some nice pepper and sour cherry fruit. The palate is terrific- medium to full-bodied, pure, and slightly sweet, a little fleshy. The finish is very pleasing- tannins that will mellow with time and a balanced acid structure. This one is all about balance and charm. Great value. I like what I see so far of 2004.
